Training on SELF MANAGEMENT

Canara Organization for Development and Peace, Mangalore organized programme on SELF MANAGEMENT at Nalkemar Anganavadi on 26th of November 2011 for the children. Ms. Lavita, teacher from St. Aloysius School, Mangalore was the resource person of this programme. The programme commenced at 3.30 pm with a prayer. Master Cleetus welcomed the resource person and all the children.

The programme was presided over by Ms. Lavita. A brief introduction to SELF MANAGEMENT was given by her. At first she explained how to prepare the time table and what measures should be kept in mind while preparing this. We should prepare time table according to our subjects which we are learning in day time in the classes. Children must keep time for playing in the evening. It is helpful to get good marks if we keep time to study tough subjects in the morning rather than in the late night.

She also explained about note making. Means long answers are difficult to remember. Hence we should write points in charts so that we can refer those points in short period of time before exam. She also said that we must have aim and challenge to reach our goal. Good values, good relationship with others helps us to reach our goal.

There was an interaction session where children cleared their doubts by asking questions. All the children benefited by this programme. 14 children participated in the programme. Snacks were distributed to them before they left. Ms. Namitha concluded the programme by giving the vote of thanks.
