The Institute for Social Development (ISD), Mangalore had organized a two days practical training programme on preparation of Masala powders and Preservative Fruit juices on 5th and 6th March 2010.
Since small scale industrialists cannot compete with multinational companies, they have to find new avenues and produce for local market. Variety of masala powders and preservative fruit juices were prepared by the participants along with the resource person Mr Rajkumar.
Especially ladies, who were interested in culinary arts, took active part in the programme which helped them to be creative and develop their skills in making these products and earning extra income for their family. 30 participants benefited from this programme.
