The Tejaswini Maha Sangha of Bela celebrated International Women’s Day on 21st March 2009. The morning session commenced with a Rally attended by about 400 women. This was followed by cultural entertainment and talk on ‘Status of Women in modern society’ by Ms Manju, Vittla. The stage programme was inaugurated by Rev. Fr Basil Vas, Bela and presided over by Rev. Fr Onil D’Souza, Director, C.O.D.P. Ms Jalajakshi, President, Spandana Mahila Okkoota and Chief Guest for the function addressed the gathering.
